After spending many years in Greensboro, Val moved to Wilmington in 2017. Motivated by a love for anything to do with the water, she enjoys boating and spending time on the beach with her husband Bobby, their three grown children and 2 Maltese dogs, Cooper and Sailor. Cooking, boxing fitness, crossword puzzles & interior design are some of her favorite other pastimes.
